Bream Caps Time at Div. III Championships

Ollie Bream, Wooster swimming INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The College of Wooster's Ollie Bream capped her rookie season with her best showing yet at the NCAA Div. III Championships, which are taking place at Indiana University Natatorium on Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis' campus.

Bream, who qualified for the Div. III national meet by virtue of her NCAA Div. III "B" cut time of 2:03.74 at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, went 2:05.42 in Friday's prelims, which ranked 22nd. She previously placed 45th in the 100 butterfly and 53rd in the 200 individual medley at the national meet.

Earlier this year, Bream earned four All-NCAC honors at her debut conference meet, marking the most by a Wooster first-year since Meggie Edwards in 2006. She logged five top-10 program times this season, including in all three events she competed in at nationals.
