Successful Saturday for Swim and Dive

The College of Wooster men's and women's swimming and diving teams had another successful day at home at Timken Natatorium as they swept Bluffton University and Notre Dame College on Saturday.

The women defeated Bluffton 220-15 and Notre Dame 193-15, while the men beat Bluffton 222-4 and Notre Dame 186-76

The women started with a win in the 200 medley relay as the four-person squad of Min KimVicky MaumbeOllie Bream and Gracie Duchon swam to a time of 1:56.36. Later, each claimed individual events.

Kim won the 100 back in 1:04.16, and Maumbe won the 100 breast in 1:14.54. Bream won the 200 fly in 2:16.45 and the 100 fly in 1:02.28, while Duchon won the 100 IM in 1:04.74.

Elsewhere, junior Emma Connors won the 200 free in 2:05.96. First-year Emma Humbert won the 200 back in 2:19.62, and sophomore Izzy Bellefleur won the 200 breast in 2:41.98.

For the men, Tucke Andrewjeski swam a 10:34.32 to win the 1000 free. He also won the 200 breast in 2:19.27.

In the 100 breast, Doak Schultz won with a time of 1:02.16. Schultz also won the 100 free in 48.43 seconds and the 100 IM in 55.24 seconds.

Josh Pearson claimed two individual events with the 200 fly in 2:02.60 and the 500 free in 4:57.79.

Isaac Shaker won the 200 free in 1:50.09, and Max Likins won the 100 back in 56.33 seconds.

Finally, the men closed the meet with a win in the 400 free relay. Pearson, Ryan GrossBoston Sullivan and Callum Glover swam to a time of 3:17.19.

Next, the Scots will travel to Westminster College next Saturday.
