GREENSBORO, North Carolina – Junior Ollie Bream improved on her seed time by nearly two seconds in the preliminary heats of the 100 butterfly on Thursday at the NCAA Div. III Championships.
Bream, who was seeded 51st in the event, touched at 57.19 for a 46th-place finish. The time of 57.19 marked a new collegiate best for the junior, and it improved her fourth-fastest time in program history. Bream's previously 100 butterfly top time was 57.59 in 2022. Her seed time was 59.15.
Bream wraps up competition at the NCAA Div. III Championships on Friday when she competes in her signature event, the 200 butterfly.
