NCAC-Leading Mark Nets Patterson Weekly Award

Drew Patterson, Wooster track & field The College of Wooster's Drew Patterson captured North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors for the first time on Monday afternoon. The Fighting Scots' junior standout was this week's field event selection.

Patterson won the high jump at the season-opening Wooster Indoor Invitational, clearing 5 feet, 3.75 inches. The mark was just a half inch off Patterson's collegiate-best, and it is currently tops in the NCAC this winter.

Patterson contributed elsewhere, helping the Scots finish as the runner-up in the 4x200 at 1:52.40. Her times of 8.36 and 28.37 in the 60 and 200 meters, respectively, marked new collegiate-best, and the 60 time was the runner-up mark on Saturday.

Wooster's home again this Saturday, with the Fighting Scots Invitational kicking off at noon.
