Record Leads to NCAC Honor for Wooster's Pan

Ada Pan, Wooster Golf Ada Pan's record-breaking debut as a Fighting Scot resulted in North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Pan, a sophomore transfer, broke The College of Wooster women's golf single-round record with a 2-over-par 74 on Saturday at the par-72, 5,690-yard Denison University Golf Club. Pan, who tied for fourth-place at the weather-shortened Lynn Schweizer Invitational, logged birdies on three of her first four holes as a Scot. She made the turn at even-par and was even through hole 13.

Pan's round ended with a fourth birdie, and that shot officially gave her the record by one stroke over alumna Hannah Appleman, who shot a 75 at the 2019 Laura Bump Invitational.

Wooster is off to Kentucky this weekend to compete in the Transylvania University Fall Invitational.
