Pan Repeats as NCAC Athlete of the Week

Ada Pan, Wooster Golf Two North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honors have been handed out since sophomore transfer Ada Pan's career started at The College of Wooster, and the Fighting Scots' standout has been the recipient both times.

Pan lowered her single-round school-record to 72 on Sunday in the final round of the Transylvania University Fall Invitational, and she now shares the record, as a strong closing stretch by Melissa Burtscher propelled the junior to a matching score. Pan's weekend consisted of rounds of 77, 76, and 72, and the sophomore tied for sixth-place at 225. Pan's record round included three birdies and 13 pars, and the sophomore played the back-nine at 2-under-par in Sunday's third round.

Burtscher and Pan led Wooster to a team score of 307 on Sunday, the program's lowest all-time round by 11 strokes. Sophomore Ally Siewert (80) and junior Grace Lindgren (83) were the Scots' other scorers on the historic day for the program.

Wooster's previous individual low round record was 74 - Pan's score from her Wooster debut at Denison University's Lynn Schweizer Invitational.

Wooster is back in action on Friday for day one of the Heidelberg University Fall Invitational.
