Pan Cards Third NCAC Weekly Honor this Fall

Ada Pan, Wooster Golf Ada Pan has competed in just four tournaments since transferring to The College of Wooster, and the Fighting Scots' sophomore women's golf standout has earned North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors following three of them. Pan earned this week's selection following medalist honors at last week's Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational, which took place at Wooster Country Club on Sunday and Monday.

Pan's 157 was the winning score by five strokes, and marked her first medalist honor as a Scot. The sophomore logged a par on holes 15 through 18 in both rounds, made the turn at 1-over-par on Monday, and followed her birdie on the par-4, 340-yard fifth hole up with four consecutive pars in the final round.

Pan shot a 79 in Sunday's round and followed that with a 78 on Monday to join alumna Tongtong Wu as the lone Scots to capture medalist honors at the program's home event.

Pan, who sports a 76.8 average over eight rounds, has three top-five finishes this fall. She was previously the NCAC Athlete of the Week on September 3 and September 12.

Wooster concludes its fall season at the Bluffton University Beaver Fall Classic, which takes place October 15-16 at Bluffton Golf Club.
