Q: Why did you choose to attend The College of Wooster?
A: I chose to attend Wooster because of the atmosphere of the campus and because I could get a good education while also being able to play lacrosse.

Q: What are some of your favorite memories as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: I think any of my favorite memories as a student at Wooster are any that I made with my team. Traveling to games and the spring break trips have always been eventful and memories that I will never forget.

Q: What's the best part about being a student-athlete at The College of Wooster?
A: There is a balance where you are always a student first and an athlete second, and you get that support from your coaches and team.

Q: Which College of Wooster faculty or staff member has made the greatest impact on you and why?
A: Coach (Elizabeth) Ford is not only a great coach, but she has always been there for me for help and advice on and off of the field.

Q: What other people or resources impacted your Wooster experience in a positive way and how did these people/resources set you up to be successful at Wooster?
A: The Learning Center definitely impacted my Wooster experience in a positive way. Just having that extra support system when it came to academics really helped set me up for a more successful time at Wooster.

Q: Tell us a bit about your Independent Study project?
A: I am studying the Alaskan Yellow Cedar tree and its decline. I'm trying to understand if it should be considered an endangered species and coming up with a management plan to try and slow the decline.

Q: Tell us a bit about something cool you did as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: One cool thing that I did as a student at Wooster was go on spring break trips every year with my team. These were fun because we were able to see how teams from all over the country played and spend a lot of time together as a team.

Q: Reflecting back on your time at Wooster, what is one piece of advice you would give your first-year (freshman) self?
A: Something that I would tell my first-year self is to let myself relax. There were times where I know now that if I would have just put a little bit less stress on the situation, it would have been a lot more successful and enjoyable.
