NCAC's Leading Scorer Tabbed for Weekly Award

Kenzie Morris, Wooster Lacrosse The College of Wooster's Kenzie Morris continues to lead the Fighting Scots in goals, and the sophomore midfielder has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week after adding nine to the count during a 2-0 week in Michigan.

Morris averaged 5.0 draw controls, 4.5 goals, 2.0 groundballs, 1.5 caused turnovers, and 1.0 assists during wins over Hope College and Kalamazoo College last week. Morris tracked down a career-high nine draw controls during Saturday's 17-14 win at Hope, a game in which she scored five goals, assisted on two others, and caused two turnovers. Morris tacked on four goals in Sunday's 18-8 win at Kalamazoo, giving her six games with at least four goals on the year. Morris' 36 goals lead the NCAC.

Morris is Wooster's first NCAC Athlete of the Week selection this spring, and the first for the program since alumna Syd Schuster was honored following a school-record nine-goal game against Allegheny College in 2022.

Wooster (9-1) returns to action when it opens North Coast Athletic Conference play against Denison University (2-8, 0-0 NCAC) on Tuesday, April 11. The game will be played at Triway High School and is set for an 8 p.m. start.
