Draw Controls Help Hardy to NCAC Athlete of the Week Award

Lizzie Hardy, Wooster Women's Lacrosse Sophomore Lizzie Hardy captured North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors for her efforts in The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team's 18-12 win at Washington & Jefferson College on Thursday evening.

The midfielder logged seven draw controls in the Fighting Scots' lone game of the week. It marked the sophomore's third straight game with seven draw controls. Hardy passed out a career-high three assists and scored three goals, with the scores ranking one off a career-high.

Hardy helped Wooster start 4-0 for the third straight season. This is Hardy's first career NCAC Athlete of the Week honor.

Wooster (4-1) returns to action against Plymouth State University (2-1) at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT on Thursday, March 14. The game is part of this year's SpringFling in Panama City Beach, Florida.
