Three contributed to scoring as The College of Wooster women's soccer team shutout Muskingum University 3-0 on Wednesday.
Wooster dominated throughout the contest, outshooting Muskingum 42-4 and taking a 15-0 advantage on corner kicks.
However, it wasn't until the 28th minute Wooster got on the board. Shortly after a corner kick, Muskingum (0-1-2) tried to clear, but first-year Kelsey Maley intercepted it and scored from about 30 yards out for her first collegiate goal.
Wooster took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but immediately made it a 2-0 game thanks to sophomore Hallie Krzys. She scored off an assist from Emma Jaros in the 48th minute. It was Krzys's team-high third goal of the year, scoring in each contest so far.
To wrap up scoring, sophomore Bailey Farrell fired a rocket to score her second of the year in the 72nd minute thanks to an assist from Julia Struck.
First-year Kameryn Nelson recorded her second shutout in her second start, needing just one save to get the job done.
Wooster moves to 2-0-1 on the year. They undergo two more road contests this weekend when they travel to Alma College on Saturday and Adrian College on Sunday.
