Charlotte Sefcik The College of Wooster women's soccer team led 1-0 at halftime against Hiram College on Tuesday before things started clicking as the Scots defeated the Terriers 6-0.

Six different Scots got into the scoring column on Tuesday as their lone goal of the first half came off a penalty kick in the 28th minute.

Bailey Farrell then made it 3-0 in the 51st minute. Senior Helena Janczak followed with her first score of the year in the 58th minute. She connected on a header thanks to an assist from Kelsey Maley.

Wooster then scored back-to-back goals in the 71st and 72nd minute behind the offensive duo of Emma Jaros and Teddi Farson. First-year Erica Beaty assisted on Farson's goal as Beaty recorded her first collegiate point.

For Jaros, it was her sixth goal of the year and Farson's fourth. Farrell and Schumacher each have three.

Goalkeeper Kameryn Nelson recorded her third shutout, making four saves. Wooster outshot the Terriers (2-11-1, 0-4 NCAC) 31-12.

Wooster moves to 7-5-3 overall and 2-2-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
