Farson’s Goal Leads to Tie with Tigers

Teddi Farson SPRINGFIELD – The College of Wooster women's soccer team tied Wittenberg University 1-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday.

Senior Teddi Farson came through and hit the equalizer in the 53rd minute. That made up for a penalty kick goal scored by Wittenberg's Amy Bidwell in the first half.

Wittenberg outshot the Scots 17-7. Goalkeeper Kameryn Nelson made three saves in net for the Scots.

Wooster moves to 7-5-4 overall and 2-2-2 in the NCAC. Wittenberg is now 2-8-6 and 1-1-3 conference play.

Wooster currently sits fifth in the NCAC standings with one game remaining. They travel to Denison University on Saturday.
