All-NCAC release

The North Coast Athletic Conference office recently announced All-NCAC selections, and among them were four from The College of Wooster women's soccer team.

Senior Teddi Farson and sophomore Hallie Krzys were named to the first team, while sophomore Emma Jaros and first-year Kelsey Maley were named All-NCAC Third Team.

Farson, Krzys and Jaros all finished in the top 10 of the conference in goals scored. Krzys tied for the conference lead with eight, Jaros tied for third with six and Farson tied for sixth with five.

Farson, last year's NCAC Newcomer of the Year, added four assists for 14 points. She scored two goals in conference play, including the equalizer in a 1-1 tie with Wittenberg University.

The Wadsworth native also had a two-goal performance in a 6-0 win against Allegheny College.

Krzys led team with 17 points, which placed her second in the conference.

Krzys got off to hot start this year, scoring a goal in each of the team's first five games. The Berea native also had a two-goal performance in a 3-1 win over Baldwin Wallace University.

Both Farson and Krzys appeared and started in all 17 games.

Jaros stepped up into a bigger role and performed admirably with six goals and two assists for 14 points. She played in all 17 contests and started in 15 of them.

The biology major from Westlake scored three of her goals in conference play, and, overall, the team went 4-0-1 when she found the back of the net.

Maley led the defense, and her only goal of the year was the game-winner at Muskingum University. She also added an assist as the Pennsylvania native appeared in 15 games and started in 14.

The Scots finished the 2022 campaign with a 7-6-4 overall record and finished fifth in the NCAC standings with eight points and a 2-3-2 record.
