Women's tennis team The College of Wooster women's tennis team competed this weekend at the Kenyon Invitational.

After a full day Saturday, weather pushed the teams inside on Sunday where only doubles matches competed.

On Saturday, Wooster won two of its four doubles matches. On the winning end, Abby Williams and Katie Materick defeated Denison's Alessandra Ceccarell and Anna Leach 8-7, and Abby Aitken teamed with Sarah Mashaal to defeat Anna Vitatle and Emma Boreman from John Carroll 8-5.

Then in singles action on Saturday, Janaki Jagannathan fought back to defeat Chloe Ku from Case Western Reserve 6-7, 6-3, 10-8.

Cherry Patlolla and Aitken each took wins over John Carroll. Patlolla won 6-2, 6-1 over Felicity Kolb, and Aitken defeated Vitale 6-3, 6-0.

Patlolla also had a tough three set loss, as did Mashaal and Otilia Oita.

On Sunday, Wooster again won half its matches, this time three of the six.

Williams and Materick captured two of those wins. They defeated John Carroll's Kolb and Caroline Chandler 8-4, and then beat the Otterbein pair of Julia Gillin and Lillia Walter 8-6.

Patlolla and Kim Nguyen defeated the Denison team of Elizabeth Hoo and Kennedy Herring 8-7.
