A: Being a Fighting Scot student-athlete means working hard both in the classroom and on the court.

Q: What are some of your favorite memories as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: Some of my favorite memories as a student at The College of Wooster are going on a glass firing field trip for my Junior Independent Study, seeing Kauke Arch filled with snow, and reaching 1,000 career kills as a senior.

Q: What is the best part about being a student-athlete at The College of Wooster?
A: The best part about being a student-athlete at The College of Wooster is being able to represent my school through the sport I play and being able to be more involved on campus.

Q: What else were you involved with on campus besides your sport?
A: I worked in the equipment room and did service from living in a house my sophomore and junior year.

Q: Which College of Wooster faculty or staff member has made the greatest impact on you and why?
A:  Dr. Kara Morrow has made a big impact on me throughout college. She guided me in the right direction in terms of classes to take as my advisor and helped me understand and study properly when taking some of her art history classes.

Q: What other people or resources impacted your Wooster experience in a positive way and how did these people and resources set you up to be successful at Wooster?
A: Other people who have impacted my time here at Wooster in a positive way are my coaches, my studio art professors, and art history professors. These people have set me up to be successful at Wooster by helping me achieve my goals, guiding me to get my degree, and educating me a lot about different kinds and styles of art.

Q: Tell us a bit about your Independent Study project?
A: My I.S. and art exhibition centers around the topic of Arizona homes. I am comparing and contrasting past pueblo, adobe style homes to the present more modern style homes. I am showcasing and writing about how they are different and what impacted the style changes.

Q: Tell us a bit about something cool you did as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: Coach Sarah Davis organized a trip for the volleyball team to go to Arizona over spring break. It was fun showing the team around where I grew up. We played sand volleyball, went to the Grand Canyon, had our non-traditional play date, went to Steele Indian School Park, and had a lot of good food.

Q: Reflecting back on your time at Wooster, what advice would you give your first-year (freshman) self?
A: Cherish the good times and don't dwell on the bad times because it goes by fast.
