Six College of Wooster standouts earned spots on the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Football Team, as announced by the NCAC office on Thursday.

Junior defensive end Aaron Roberson earned a second-team certificate, while junior right guard Clayton Geib, senior tight end Nate Huwar, junior corner back Patrick Johnson, senior defensive tackle Riley Markko, and junior quarterback Gary Muntean all earned honorable mention certificates.

Roberson tied for fourth on the team with 50 tackles. A vital part of Wooster's veteran defensive line, Roberson ranked second on the team in tackles-for-loss (11.5) and sacks (5.5). Notable, Roberson logged 10 tackles at Wabash College and had four tackles-for-loss at Denison University.

Geib, a staple at right guard, started all 10 games at that position, and Wooster's last 20 dating back to last season. He helped Wooster rank 27th in Div. III in passing offense with 301 yards-per-game during the regular-season, and 97th in total offense with 404.3 yards-per-game.

Huwar ranked second on the team with 30 receptions and was one of 10 student-athletes on the roster with at least 20 receptions and at least 200 receiving yards. A reliable target down the middle of the field, Huwar hauled in seven receptions for 49 yards over the last two games of the season, and had a 7-catch, 52-yard evening versus Allegheny College during Wooster's first win of the season.

Johnson, now a two-time honorable mention all-conference selection, moved from safety to corner this season to give Wooster a veteran presence on the edge of its defense. Johnson recorded 43 tackles on the year to go with one interception and three break-ups. Johnson's signature game this season came versus Kenyon College, an afternoon in which he turned in eight tackles.

Markko delivered a superb second half of the season, with over half (31) of his 60 tackles coming in the last four games of the season. In addition to ranking third on the team in tackles, Markko accumulated 10.0 tackles-for-loss and 4.0 sacks on the year. He earned D3football.com Team-of-the-Week, Presented by Scoutware honors for his 12-tackle afternoon versus Hiram College.

Muntean set numerous program records during his first full season as the Fighting Scots' signal-caller. The junior opened the season with three straight 300-yard games, and finished the campaign with a single-season program record 2,940 passing yards, in addition to the single-season program marks for total offensive yards (3,140), total offensive plays (516), pass attempts (386), and pass completions (234). Against Hiram, Muntean matched the single-game program record with five passing touchdowns.

Wooster finished the season at 4-6, 4-5 NCAC, marking a two-win uptick in the win column from last season.
