CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District® At-Large Release

Senior Titas Bera of The College of Wooster was voted first-team Google Cloud Academic All-District® for men's at-large sports by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the organization announced on Thursday.

Bera advances to the ballot for Academic All-America® consideration.

Bera, a recent alumnus of the College, sported a 3.59 GPA as a biochemistry and molecular biology major heading into the spring season. He earned the department's male David A. Guldin Award, an honor given annually to the top male senior scholar-athlete.

On the court, Bera was a four-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference honoree in singles play, twice earning first-team certificates. Bera, just the fourth student-athlete in program history to earn All-NCAC singles honors each season at Wooster, went 21-5 in singles this year and 11-14 in doubles.

For his career, Bera's third all-time in wins at No. 1 singles (52), sixth in overall singles wins (70), and seventh in combined wins (121) at the College.

Within NCAA Div. III District 7 (Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio), just 10 student-athletes were honored by CoSIDA, and Bera was one of two tennis players.
