One of the top butterflyers in the preeminent swim conference in NCAA Div. III, as he’ll look to qualify for the championship heat at NCAC’s for second-straight year … Team captain.
2014-15: Strong showing in the 200 fly, qualifying for the NCAC championship finals and then touching ninth at 1:56.63 – the fourth-fastest time in program history … Also scored in two additional individual events, taking 17th in the 100 backstroke (55.27) and 24th in the 100 fly (53.10) … Led off the fifth-place 800 freestyle relay (7:10.22) with a 1:48.76 leg, and part of seventh-place 200 (1:27.31) and 400 free (3:11.78) relays.
2013-14: Qualified for consolation finals of 200 fly (1:59.17) and 200 back (2:02.46) for second year in a row, this time placing 15th and 18th, respectively at NCACs … Also took 24th in bonus heat of 100 fly (53.84).
2012-13: Had a strong showing in his debut at the NCAC Championships, highlighted by being the anchor of the seventh-place 800 free relay (7:15.61) … Also reached the consolation finals in two individual races, as he hit the wall 11th in the 200 fly (1:58.41) and 12th in the 200 back (1:59.92) … Competed in the 200 free as well.
Prior to Wooster: Set school records in the 100 fly, 100 back, and 100 free as a senior at Eaton High School … Four-year varsity letterwinner with the swim team, and also earned three in cross country and two in track.
