Athletics Day of Giving Graphic Make a Gift for Athletics Day of Giving

Did you know one out of every three students at The College of Wooster is a varsity student-athlete?

Each of our student-athletes find Wooster through different avenues, but they have two things in common – their love for the Black and Gold, and their desire to compete in their sport(s) at a high level while receiving a nationally-recognized liberal arts education. You can support Wooster's student-athlete experience on Thursday, April 7 during the second-annual Athletics Day of Giving.

Thanks to the Fighting Scots Fund, our annual athletics fund that supports all varsity sports at Wooster, our sports teams, coaches, and athletics staff can compete at the highest levels. Your gift to the Fighting Scots Fund provides every team with funds for the following and more:

• New equipment
• Travel expenses
• Staffing priorities and training
• Court and facility rentals

Make a gift through 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 7 to be part of the Athletics Day of Giving and make a difference for the Fighting Scots! The W Association has graciously come together to offer a challenge of $3,000 that will be unlocked once 125 donors give to the Athletics Day of Giving on April 7. Your gift supports all of Wooster's varsity student-athletes, and you can designate a portion of your gift to go directly to a team or teams of your choosing. Wooster has enjoyed a remarkable year, athletically, academically, and through experiential learning, thanks in part to your support. Significant accomplishments over the last year include:

Three NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipients for fall 2021 sports, the most of ANY team in the ENTIRE NCAA.
Three NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipients for the 2020-21 academic year, a top-five ranking in the NCAA.
