SAAC to Celebrate Div. III Week April 1-7

Below is the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's (SAAC) schedule for NCAA Div. III Week (April 1-7). Div. III Week is a positive opportunity for all individuals associated with Div. III to observe and celebrate the impact of athletics and of student-athletes on the campus and surrounding community.

Highlights at Wooster include Athletics Day of Giving on Thursday, April 5 and SAAC's annual Seated Volleyball Tournament on April 2. Follow our SAAC on Instagram and @WoosterSAAC for engaging content all week long. Additionally, quotes on "Why Wooster" and other topics centered around NCAA Div. III Identity Pillars - Discover, Develop, Dedicate - will be shared in the Instagram stories on the main Athletics account throughout the week.

Monday, April 1
--Student-Athlete Appreciation Breakfast, 7:30-9:30 a.m., Scot Center Lobby

--Prank athletic staff for April Fools' Day

Tuesday, April 2

--Fourth Annual Seated Volleyball Tournament, 7 p.m., Gault Recreation Center, $20 per team (6-7 people), proceeds donated to Special Olympics of Ohio

Thursday, April 4

--Athletics Day of Giving – A one-day celebration to support the student-athlete experience at Wooster. Fighting Scots come together to show their support for the student-athlete experience. Want to give? Head to the Athletics Day of Giving webpage to learn more.

--Student and staff pickleball tournament, 7 p.m., Gault Recreation Center

Friday, April 5

--Take Your Coach to Class & Bring Your Professor to Practice Day – Fighting Scots are encouraged to invite their coaches to one of their classes and invite professors to practice. This provides coaches and professors the opportunity to see a side of student-athletes that they do not normally get to experience.
