Andrew Colemanjoined The College of Wooster as manager of equipment operations and assistant coordinator of facilities and events on September 30, 2024. 

Coleman arrived in Wooster following two years as an assistant equipment manager at Kent State University. At Kent State, Coleman oversaw equipment, practice, and gameday preparations on a daily basis for field hockey, women’s soccer, softball, and track and field. Coleman worked closely with coaches and oversaw the ordering, budgeting, and distribution of team and coach orders. He ensured student-athletes’ gear was properly maintained and organized and oversaw student workers to ensure everything was completed in a satisfactory manner. 

Earlier in his time at Kent State, Coleman worked as a graduate assistant in equipment operations for baseball, football, and lacrosse. He prepared the football team locker rooms and equipment for gameday use, managed sideline setup, and led the team’s decal and facemask adjustments. 

Prior to starting graduate school, Coleman held internships at Kent State in facilities and operations, compliance, and with football’s director of operations. 

Coleman is a two-time graduate of Kent State, holding both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in sports administration.
