Keenan White

The College of Wooster's Keenan White was selected the North Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for his efforts during the first full week of the Fighting Scots' 2013 season, as announced by the league office Monday.

White threw two quality starts and won both, while compiling a 2.40 ERA with 19 strikeouts during his 15.0 innings. The senior southpaw went the first six innings and yielded just two runs of Wooster's eventual 13-8 regional win over the College of Mount St. Joseph on March 11, then he was one out away from a complete-game shutout versus Wheaton (Ill.) College March 16. A two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the ninth prevented the shutout, but White struck out the next hitter – his career-high 12th strikeout – for the complete game.

Wooster is 4-3 overall entering the second week of its 12-game spring break swing in Florida.
