Aaron Spidell, a senior outfielder for the 21st-ranked College of Wooster baseball team, was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's Hitter of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Spidell, who hails from nearby Mt. Eaton, Ohio, went 15-for-25 (.600) last week with 11 runs, 10 RBI, three walks, two doubles, two stolen bases, and his first collegiate homer. Spidell had five multi-hit games, which were headlined by a 4-for-6 afternoon with three RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base during Wooster's 13-12 win over No. 15 Marietta College on Saturday.

Earlier in the week, Spidell went 2-for-2 with two runs scored, two walks, and hit his first collegiate round-tripper against Swarthmore College, and he ended the week with a 4-for-4 outing with four runs scored against Alfred State College.

This is Spidell's first NCAC weekly honor, and he's the first hitter to earn the NCAC's weekly prize since alumnus Garrett Crum on April 29, 2019.
