D3baseball.com Team of the Week release

The College of Wooster's Dane Camphausen collected another award for his fine play last week, as D3baseball.com selected the sophomore first baseman for its Team of the Week on Tuesday morning.

Camphausen went 6-for-9 at the dish during a 2-1 week for the Fighting Scots' baseball team. He also walked four times, leading to an .800 on-base percentage. Camphausen hit safely in all three games, capping his week with a 3-for-4 outing at Wittenberg University on Friday afternoon. In that contest, Camphausen scored four times and clubbed a three-run homer for his sixth round-tripper of the year.

Camphausen is the second Scot to earn a spot on D3baseball.com's Team of the Week this spring. Senior right-hander Jay DiBacco was named to the team on March 30 following his two-hit shutout against Denison University.

Camphausen and his Wooster teammates are back in action on Saturday, May 15, when the Scots take on Case Western Reserve University in the opener of a four-game weekend set. First pitch from Nobby's Ballpark is set for 1 p.m.
