Wooster Announces Updated Spectator Policies for NCAC Baseball Championship Series

Spectator Policy for NCAC Baseball Championship Series at The College of Wooster (May 20-21, 2021) (last updated May 17, 2021)

The College of Wooster is pleased to welcome limited guests to the 2021 NCAC Baseball Championship Series.

Invited Guests: All invited guests are asked to conduct daily symptom assessments; anyone experiencing symptoms should stay home. Those invited as spectators include:

  • All College of Wooster students, faculty, and staff 

  • Two guests per participating student-athlete from both participating institutions may be included on a pass list managed by each institution. (Coaches will send pass list to The College of Wooster by 4 p.m. on May 19, 2021.)  

  • Necessary event management personnel  

Policies: 

  • All spectators must check in with the ushers upon arrival to the venue.   

    • Registered guests will be required to show ID. 

    • College of Wooster students, faculty, and staff will be required to show "Good to Go" badge. 

  • Socially distanced seating will be available in designated areas on a first-come, first-served basis. 

  • Social distancing will be expected.  Family members may sit together.    

  • Spectators should not congregate near or gather with team personnel, including student-athletes, coaches, officials, and game management personnel.   

  • Visitors are asked to leave the venue at the conclusion of the competition and not hang around on campus.      

  • College of Wooster student-athletes are expected to adhere to the Community Care Agreement and the campus operational framework guidelines.   

  • No guests will be permitted in college buildings (Scot Center, Lowry Center, residential spaces, library, etc) with exception of Bookstore and Post Office.   

  • Public restrooms are available at the competition venue.  

    • Home team spectator and player porta-pots are behind home team dugout.  

    • Designated visiting team spectator porta-pots are beside the golf house along Gasche Street.  

  • No alcohol or tobacco products permitted.    

  • No pets permitted in bleachers.        

  • No tailgating or team meals with guests. 

  • There will be no concession stand. 

Parking and Entry: 

  • Wooster fans:  park and check-in at the baseball parking lot.  Seating will in bleachers on the first base side. 

  • Denison fans:  park in spaces along Gasche Street (overflow on Wayne Avenue).  Walk along outfield fence to the gate at the left field foul pole to check-in.   Seating will be in the bleachers on the third base side.
