Kramer Caps Sophomore Year with ABCA All-America Honors
Designated hitter a second-team honoree
The College of Wooster's Ryan Kramer scored another All-America honor, this time from the American Baseball Coaches Association. The sophomore designated hitter was announced as a second-team honoree following the opening ceremony of the NCAA Div. III Championships on Thursday.
The D3baseball.com second-team All-American, which was announced on Wednesday, currently sports top-30 marks nationally in RBI per game, slugging, average, and home runs per game. His .449 average (62-for-138) led Wooster and he added a .509 on-base percentage and a .819 slugging percentage to his 2024 stat line. Kramer clubbed 14 doubles, 11 homers, and two triples to get to 27 extra base hits for the year. His 55 RBI came up five short of having the 17th 60-RBI season in program history. Kramer scored 43 times and totaled 19 walks.
The first-team ABCA and D3baseball.com All-Region performer earned first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference laurels this spring. He was named to D3baseball.com's Team of the Week for his play against Kenyon College and Denison University.
