2020 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society Release

Seniors Adam Clark and Jake Cohen of The College of Wooster football team have been granted membership in the 2020 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, the NFF announced on Wednesday.

The Hampshire Honor Society is annually made up of seniors from all collegiate divisions who were a starter or significant contributor and achieved a minimum 3.2 GPA.

Clark, an education and history major, didn't miss a start during his standout four-year career. The Stoneboro, Pennsylvania, native, who started all 40 games at left guard, was an honorable mention All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection as a junior. This season, Clark was a semifinalist for the NFF's prestigious Campbell Trophy and was among the recipients of a $2,000 postgraduate scholarship from the Mike Cleary Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the NFF.

Cohen, a history major, impacted the team in a variety of roles this past season as a student assistant coach. In 2018, Cohen logged 16 tackles as a starting linebacker before being sidelined by a mid-season injury. The Farmington Hills, Michigan, native logged a pick-six against Bluffton University in the 2017 season opener.

Over the last five years, 19 Wooster student-athletes have earned membership in the society.
