Career Day Vaults Gadler to NCAC Weekly Honor
Senior had 248 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns on Saturday
College of Wooster football senior Brazos Gadler was unstoppable in Saturday's 46-21 win at Oberlin College with 248 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns, and that led to North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week honors on Tuesday.
Gadler's presence was noticed from the start, as he ran the opening kickoff back 85 yards for a touchdown. He had receiving touchdowns of 51, 28, and six yards in the win, with the trio matching a collegiate-best.
Gadler set new career-highs with 11 receptions and 163 yards in Saturday's win. His 11 receptions are tied for the seventh-most in program history. In three career games against Oberlin, Gadler turned 22 receptions into 382 yards and seven touchdowns.
Wooster (2-6, 1-5 NCAC) is at Hiram College (0-6, 0-4 NCAC) for a noon kickoff on Saturday.
