Mims Jr. Rushes to NCAC Weekly Honor
Junior logged program's first 200-yard rushing game in a decade on Saturday
For the second straight week, The College of Wooster football team captured the North Coast Athletic Conference's Offensive Athlete of the Week honor. Junior running back Jarvis Mims Jr. is this week's honoree following a career day on Saturday.
Mims Jr. logged the program's first 200-yard rushing game in a decade to help Wooster beat Hiram College 30-20 on Saturday. Mims Jr. ended the day with 202 yards on 33 carries with two touchdowns. He averaged 6.1 yards per carry and put the Scots up by two scores with 1:55 remaining in the game.
Wooster concludes its season on Saturday, November 16 with a 1 p.m. game against Wittenberg University (4-3, 3-2 NCAC).
