The College of Wooster's Erika Womack's big-time performances during a 2-0 week for the Fighting Scots' field hockey team landed the senior as the North Coast Athletic Conference's Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Womack's decisive tally during Wooster's 3-2 shootout win over Kenyon College on Saturday marked the midfielder's biggest contribution of the week. Earlier in the win, the senior assisted on sophomore Sydney Schuster's 12th goal of the season.

The following day, Womack scored twice and added an assist during the Scots' 7-0 win over Oberlin College.

Noteworthy, Wooster's win over Kenyon marked the first by the Scots since Oct. 23, 2012.

Wooster (9-2, 5-2 NCAC) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 6 with an 11 a.m. tilt at Ohio Wesleyan University (6-3, 3-3 NCAC).
