Bio
Lauren Voigt, who coached field hockey at Elizabethtown College (Pennsylvania) for 11 seasons, joined The College of Wooster as its head field hockey coach on August 12, 2024.
Voigt, who earned a promotion to head coach in 2023, was part of a staff that went 65-44 over her 11 seasons. She helped Elizabethtown to its first Landmark Conference championship in 2016 and an appearance in the NCAA Div. III Championship tournament. Overall, Elizabethtown competed in three conference championship games during Voigt's tenure. Individually, seven Blue Jays earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region laurels and 38 earned all-conference certificates. Academically, two were voted Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athletes.
In addition to her work with Elizabethtown's field hockey team, Voigt was an assistant women's lacrosse coach for five seasons and gained coaching and athletic event management experience at Milton Hershey School.
As a student-athlete, Voigt was part of Messiah's powerhouse program, which was the national runner-up her junior and senior seasons. The four-time Commonwealth Conference champion set career-highs in goals (five), assists (two), and points (12) as a sophomore.
Voigt graduated from Messiah with a degree in health and exercise science and holds a level one coaching certification from USA Field Hockey.
