Fanelly Recognized by D3hoops.com for NCAC Tournament Performances

Senior Dan Fanelly of The College of Wooster earned recognition on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, Presented by Scoutware on Monday evening for his role in helping the Fighting Scots to their league-leading 16th North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament championship.

Fanelly, broke Wooster's NCAC Tournament record with 32 points in the Scots' 87-77 win over Denison University in Friday's night's semifinal contest, and then, followed that up with 34 points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots in the 76-72 championship game win over Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon.

The Al Van Wie award winner as the tournament MVP, Fanelly surpassed 500 points for the season in Saturday's win, becoming the sixth Scot to do so in the tradition-rich program's history. Additionally, the forward moved up to sixth on Wooster's all-time scoring list.
