Members of the campus and Wooster community are invited to watch the NCAA Div. III Championships Selection Show with The College of Wooster men's basketball team on Monday afternoon at the Lowry Center on campus. The team will begin gathering around 12:15 p.m. right outside the Wilson Bookstore. The selection show is slated to start at 12:30 p.m. on NCAA.com. At 12:30 p.m., a link to watch the selection show will be available on the NCAA Div. III men's basketball landing page for those unable to attend.

Wooster's making its NCAA Div. III record 18th consecutive appearance in the national field, and it's the program's 29th appearance in the Div. III Championships. Should Wittenberg University not earn one of the 20 pool c (at-large) bids to the championship field, Wooster will move into a tie with its longtime archrival for the most appearances in Div. III history.

Among all divisions, Wooster boasts the fifth-longest active streak of NCAA Tournament appearances, as the University of Kansas (30), Duke University (24), Michigan State University (22), and Gonzaga University (21) – all Div. I programs – are the lone NCAA men's programs with longer such streaks. Overall, Wooster's run of 18 straight championship appearances is tied for the seventh longest in the history of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament (all divisions).
