Michael Peters shot two of his best rounds of the spring over the weekend, and the North Coast Athletic Conference took notice, naming The College of Wooster standout Men's Golfer of the Week on Monday.

Competing in the Strimer Memorial Invitational, which was held at the par-70, 6,537-yard Glenross Golf Course in Delaware, Ohio, Peters shot a one-under 69 on day one, which tied him for the lowest round. Then on Sunday, while battling gusting winds, he shot a 78 to score a 147 in all, which tied him for second-place in the individual standings.

Peters has been consistent as of late, with his last four rounds all in the 70's or below (78, 69, 72, 79). The junior was selected honorable mention all-NCAC his freshman year.

This weekend, the Scots will compete in their first event that counts towards the NCAC standings, as they host the Nye Intercollegiate at the Wooster Country Club.
