The College of Wooster's Krish Nayak earned a fifth North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honor on Tuesday. The award followed Nayak's team-leading performance at last week's NCAA Div. III Region V Preview.

Nayak fired a 151 on the University of Notre Dame's Warren Golf Course, which was the sixth-place score in the 95-competitor field. Nayak played 13 holes at par or better in round one, and had two birdies on the front nine, resulting in a 1-over-par score. Nayak had seven pars on the back nine in the opening round and was 6-over-par in round two.

Two of Nayak's NCAC Athlete of the Week honors came this fall. The junior helped the program to a trio of team titles.
