Scully, Kuhn, Peirce Earn All-NCAC Accolades

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The North Coast Athletic Conference recently released the men's lacrosse All-NCAC selections and among them were Wooster's Cullen Kuhn, Ethan Scully and Shaun Peirce.

Kuhn and Scully earned second team honors, and Peirce was an honorable mention following a year where the team went 7-11 overall and 5-3 in conference play with a berth into the NCAC Tournament.

Kuhn tallied 29 goals and 23 assists and averaged just under three points per game. The junior was second on the team in points and assists and was third in goals scored.

This is Kuhn's first All-NCAC recognition. He tallied at least one point in every game except for the season opener, and he scored three goals in a game four times and collected nine multi-goal games.

The senior Scully tied the program's single season record in caused turnovers with 40 while breaking the career record at 115. Featured on the second team for the second consecutive year, Scully also tallied 57 ground balls which was second on the team.

Scully reached a season-high four caused turnovers in five games this season.

Finally, Peirce earned a second straight honorable mention following a year in which he tallied 51 goals and 11 assists for 3.4 points per game.

Peirce held the team lead in points and goals, and his 51 goals tied the single season record. The sophomore tallied at least one point in every game including a high of eight when he scored eight goals against Wabash in a 19-7 win.
