DiLeo Named to All-NCAC Team

2022 All-NCAC Men's Lacrosse Team

Sophomore Vinny DiLeo of The College of Wooster men's lacrosse team represented the Fighting Scots on this year's All-North Coast Athletic Conference Team, which was announced on Wednesday morning. DiLeo was an honorable mention selection.

DiLeo was Wooster's offensive catalyst with team-highs in points and assists at 54 and 26, respectively. He also ranked second on the team with 28 goals and had 35 groundballs and four caused turnovers on his 2022 stat line.

The biology major's season started with a hat trick at John Carroll University, and he was sizzling offensively when Wooster knocked Western Connecticut State University from the ranks of the unbeaten. DiLeo had a hand in eight of Wooster's 14 goals with five goals and three assists in the four-goal victory.

DiLeo's top conference showing came in the league opener against Hiram College. There, the attacker scored four goals and passed out a quartet of assists in Wooster's 17-4 win. He also had five-point outings against Wittenberg University and Oberlin College.

Wooster went 6-10 on the year, which included a 4-5 mark in conference play.
