Kellogg Scores NCAC Weekly Honor
Sophomore attacker had an eight-point game on Saturday
The College of Wooster's Lane Kellogg earned North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week honors for his play in Saturday's 17-11 men's lacrosse victory over Oberlin College.
Kellogg scored five goals and passed out three assists in the win, which saw the Fighting Scots improve to 10-3 and remain perfect at 4-0 in NCAC play. It marked Kellogg's fifth game with at least seven points on the season and his five goals are the second-highest total on the year for the sophomore attacker.
Kellogg moved into the top-10 in program history for single-season goals and now has 41, 11 shy of breaking the program record. He is just shy of breaking into the program's top-10 single-season points leaderboard for the second time.
Wooster now has four NCAC Athlete of the Week awards this season.
Wooster returns to action with a 7 p.m. home game on Wednesday, April 17 against Ohio Wesleyan University (8-3, 5-0 NCAC).
