Fink a Preseason All-American

Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America Team

College of Wooster senior midfielder Will Fink was among the Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans announced by the organization on Wednesday.

The honorable mention preseason All-American was one of a record three All-Americans for the program in 2024. Fink debuted on the all-conference team as a first-team honoree. He doubled his previous career high with 40 goals, which ranked second on the squad and eighth within the North Coast Athletic Conference. Fink ranked third on the team with 50 points and surpassed 100 for his career. He added 18 groundballs and three caused turnovers.

Fink scored a career-best five goals to fuel Wooster's 11-9 win over Allegheny College. He had an additional five four-goal games with four of those coming in conference play.

Earlier in his career, Fink was fifth on the team with 28 points, 20 goals, and eight assists as a sophomore. He led the way with eight player-up scores. A starter right away, Fink scored 15 goals, passed out eight assists, and scooped up 16 groundballs as a first-year.

Fink and Wooster start the season with a 1 p.m. game at Saint Vincent College on Saturday, February 22.
