Manny Burton

Seniors Connor Hawkins and Manny Burton were recently named to the All-Ohio Division III Team by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA).

Hawkins was named to the third team. He was one of the two senior captains who led the backfield and a midfield that allowed 1.61 goals per game.

Hawkins scored his second career goal in a 2-1 loss to Case Western Reserve on Sept. 8. Earlier, he was selected to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Second Team.

Burton, who was named to the second team, tied for the team lead with 12 points and was second on the team with five goals. He also accumulated two assists. In a standout game, he scored two goals in a 3-1 win at Capital University (Sept. 18).

Wooster finished 2019 at 7-11 overall and 3-6 in the NCAC.
