The College of Wooster men's soccer team and Ohio Wesleyan University played to a 1-1 tie in the Fighting Scots' final exhibition contest of the spring.

The Scots honored their seven seniors before the game in Wilson FreijeDani HalbingMax HillCharlie KrusHamilton SchattgenBJ Tally and Andreas Xenofontos. And it was the seniors who made an impact in the game.

In the 19th minute, Xenofontos found Halbing near the front of the net for a header to put the Scots ahead 1-0. That lead stood for almost 58 minutes until Ohio Wesleyan's Ethan Marshall hit the equalizer in the 77th minute.

Schattgen played the entire first half in goal but did not see any shots come his way. First-year Gabriel Thomas filled in the second half and collected the team's lone save of the game.

Shots were hard to come by on both sides as the two teams took just nine each and landed just two shots on goal. Wooster had four corner kicks to Ohio Wesleyan's three.

Saturday's contest did not feature any extra time. The Scots finish their exhibition schedule this spring at 1-1-1.
