The College of Wooster men's soccer team celebrated their eight seniors in their regular season finale on Saturday. The Fighting Scots and DePauw University tied 0-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference finale.
The first half was a stalemate as neither the seven shots DePauw took, nor the four Wooster took found the back of the net.
In the second half, one of Wooster's better chances came with 30 minutes remaining as an Aris Christodoulou header in the box went high.
Senior Max Wiley and first-year Connor Shea had Wooster's other two shots on goal. Wooster ended with nine total shots.
DePauw had 14 shots and just one on goal. Gabriel Thomas made one save in the decision.
DePauw (9-4-5, 3-2-3 NCAC) was fighting for the fourth seed in the upcoming NCAC Tournament. With the tie and Oberlin College defeating Wabash College, 5-1, DePauw will claim that final spot.
Wooster ends the season at 7-9-2 overall and 2-4-1 in the NCAC.
