The College of Wooster men's tennis team dropped its match with nationally-ranked Denison University 9-0 Wednesday at the Mitchell Center in Granville, Ohio.
The Scots (4-12) got their best showing at No. 1 singles, where Landon Moore was competitive in a 6-2, 6-3 setback. Zack Rotter took a couple points at No. 4 (6-1, 6-3), as did John Schulz in his No. 6 singles match (6-3, 6-1).
Also noteworthy, the No. 1 doubles team of Rotter/Nick Biniker pushed their opponents to an 8-4 result.
Denison came into today's match ranked No. 27 in the nation, and No. 5 regionally in the latest polls.
Wooster will be right back on the court tomorrow when they host Wittenberg University at 4:30 p.m.
