In a North Coast Athletic Conference East Division match, The College of Wooster fell to visiting Allegheny College by a 9-0 count Saturday afternoon at D.J. Hard Memorial Courts.

Similar to Thursday's match against Wittenberg University, Wooster (4-14, 0-3 NCAC East) played a series of close singles matches, but wasn't quite able to pick up a point. After Allegheny (11-4, 2-1 NCAC East) swept the three doubles matches, with Sam Susanin and Alex Turner showing the most resistance at No. 3 (8-4), the Fighting Scots' Nick Biniker, Zack Rotter, and David Greetham all pushed their opponents.

Both Biniker, at No. 2 singles, and Rotter, at No. 4, extended their matches to three sets. Biniker took the first 6-4 before dropping the second 6-1 and a third-set super tiebreaker 10-6. Rotter also fell by that same score in a third-set super tiebreaker, as he split the first two sets 6-2, 3-6. Greetham was very competitive at the No. 5 position in a 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 decision.

Wooster wraps up the regular season Monday at Ohio Wesleyan University (7-10).
