Scots Roll Past Malone 9-0

The College of Wooster men's tennis team continued their solid start to the season, this time dropping Malone University 9-0 Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match at the D.J. Hard Memorial Courts in Wooster, Ohio.

The most closely contested match came at No. 2 singles, where Landon Moore overcame a slow start to notch a 3-6, 6-0, 1-0 victory. Earlier, Moore teamed with Zack Rotter at No. 1 doubles to sweep their opponents 8-0.

Also in doubles action, Nick Biniker and Paul Thomas won 8-2 at the No. 2 spot in the lineup, and Kyle Lehman and James Parker stormed to an 8-0 win at No. 3.

Lehman was again impressive at No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-1), as were teammates No. 3 Biniker (6-0, 6-1), No. 4 Thomas (6-0, 6-3), and No. 5 Rotter (6-0, 6-0).

The Scots (2-0) will continue the fall portion of their schedule when they host Walsh University Oct. 15 at noon.
