In its debut match on the indoor courts at the recently opened Scot Center, The College of Wooster men's tennis team stormed past Otterbein University 7-2 Wednesday to kick-off the spring portion of its schedule.

Landon Moore and Paul Thomas were dominant at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, as Moore put his opponent away 6-1, 6-1, while Thomas notched a 6-2, 6-0 victory.

The other singles matches were a bit more closely-contested, with the tightest contest coming at the No. 3 spot in the lineup. Zack Rotter came up short in set one (4-6), but then won the next two sets by scores of 6-4 and 6-3 to keep the Scots perfect in singles action.

The Scots didn't give up a set in singles matches 4-6, as Jacob Pine, John Schulz, and David Greetham all held off their opponents.

In doubles action, Moore and Thomas won 8-4, while Rotter and Pine (2-8), and Schulz and Greetham (5-8) came up short.

Wooster will be off until it competes during its annual spring break trip at Hilton Head, S.C., which begins March 11.
