The College of Wooster got the spring started with a 7-2 victory over Otterbein University in the first-ever tennis match played in the Scot Center, and Landon Moore earned North Coast Athletic Conference Player-of-the-Week honors for his efforts, the league office announced Monday.

Moore picked up a pair of decisive wins on the day, as he swept his opponent at the No. 1 singles spot 6-1, 6-4, and then was part of an 8-4 triumph at No. 1 doubles.

The sophomore is now a combined 6-0 in singles and doubles action during the 2011-12 season, and will look to continue his impressive run during the team's annual spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C. (March 11-20).
