The College of Wooster won five singles matches in straight sets, as it rolled past Capital University 7-2 Monday afternoon in a men's tennis non-conference tilt at D.J. Hard Memorial Courts.

Before its domination in singles, Wooster (6-6) went ahead 2-1 with a pair of decisive doubles victories. Nick Biniker and David Greetham were 8-3 winners at the No. 2 position, while the pairing of Landon Moore and Tripp McLane posted an 8-2 decision at No. 3.

Biniker then made quick work of his opponent at fourth singles, not yielding a game in a 6-0, 6-0 shutout, while John Schulz also had a bagel set en rout to a 6-0, 6-3 triumph at the sixth spot. Further up the lineup, Paul Thomas scored a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 2 and Zack Rotter emerged as a 6-3, 6-2 victor at No. 3. The Fighting Scots' other point came from Greetham at No. 5 (6-2, 6-1).

Wooster plays at home again Tuesday, making its 2012 North Coast Athletic Conference East Division debut against Oberlin College (7-8, 1-0 NCAC East) at 4:30 p.m.
