On the court for the fourth time in five days, The College of Wooster played a series of close matches, but was unable to secure a point as Baldwin-Wallace College notched a 9-0 victory in the schools' non-conference men's tennis affair Friday at D.J. Hard Memorial Courts in Wooster, Ohio.

Two of the doubles matches were closely contested, with David Greetham and John Schulz extending their opponents to an 8-6 decision at the No. 3 position and Landon Moore and Jacob Pine winning four games at No. 1 (8-4).

Pine and Moore also played well in singles. At the fourth spot, Pine went to a first-set tiebreaker and the second set was also closely contested before he fell 7-6 (7-3), 6-4, and Moore battled to a 6-2, 6-4 setback at the top of the lineup.

Wooster (6-12) will close out its regular season slate next Wednesday when it hosts Ohio Wesleyan University (7-10) at 4 p.m.
